Ben was born and raised in Tasmania at a leafy suburb on the edge of town. He began illustrating after travelling to England in his early twenties.
After working as a photographer and studying graphic design, his first picture book illustrations were published in 2017. Other titles followed that included a 2020 speech pathology shortlisted book of the year award. His first painting exhibition was held in 2019 supported by Clarence Arts and Events.
Ben lives and works in Tasmania.
