I am available anywhere in Australia for all Primary School level classroom workshops from Year 1 onwards to present the books I've illustrated with live drawings, insights, takeaways, smiles, fun and more.
I would love to bring this experience to your School, Library or Community !
What's involved
Option 1: Still Life Drawing with Ben 2026
Book me for: Half day, Full Day, or multiple Full Days.
A single session includes drawing along side me after a 10 minute introduction.
Have each student bring their own object they would like to draw; anything that inspires them. I'll show a page or two from my books that include objects I've added.
I'll be there to answer any questions, help with their drawing, and just have fun during the creative process as they're inspired to draw their own object.
A single session can run from 30 - 40 minutes onwards. Available for groups up to 30.
Before we begin, I set up artwork plus each book cover I've illustrated on a poster & stand - all to inspire creativity.
*Artwork set up time is at least 60 to a maximum of 90 minutes*
A Still Life Drawing Session usually ends with a Q&A plus a takeaway A4 activity sheet for each person (which I supply the black and white file to print via your printer - printed copies are not supplied)
Colour printed Teacher Notes that accompany books can be supplied via access to your printer all to help your students gain a richer experience on the day.
Option 2: Classroom Visits
For multiple classrooms for either One Half or Full Day only without organising your students to leave the classroom. No artwork etc or books will be provided. I'll give a 5 - 10-minute introduction with use of the classrooms white board etc then answer questions.
Option 3: Q&A with Ben
A single session is based on an hourly rate, a minimum 1-hour booking is required.
Artwork plus each book cover I've illustrated on a poster & stand will be on display.

Option 4: Q&A with Ben without Artwork Displayed
A simple Q&A without any artwork displayed can also be provided.
A minimum 1-hour booking is required.
For all appearances I do not use digital displays for a more engaging experience - this also allows more location options to appear at your venue.

**As a general guide I don’t charge travel expenses**
If other bookings can be made nearby or on the way to your location I have a greater chance of appearing. Please inform other Schools, Libraries or Community Groups in your area that you’re hoping to book me.
**My priority is not Book Sales**
Although they will be available unless notified, my presentations are focused on bringing a great experience.
I love making illustrations, talking about them, storytelling, answering questions - and would love to bring this to yours and other communities. Please help me in doing so!
