I am available anywhere in Australia for all Primary School level classroom presentations from Kindergarten onwards to present the books I've illustrated with live drawings, insights, takeaways, smiles, fun and more.
I would love to bring this experience to your School, Library or Community !

It’s all engaging and during the experience I display each book page on a digital screen, with each book cover displayed poster size on a sturdy stand.

A general rundown of a presentation runs 30 - 40 minutes, with the option for a little longer. I’m available for a half or full day.
A single presentation overview includes:

- Introduction
- A showcase of picture book work
- Reading two stories, each with their own unique interactive experience.
- A drawing/writing takeaway for each student customized to that age group (more on info sheet)
- A live drawing for the classroom
- Any questions your students may have.

Presentations are customized for 3 age groups:

Kindergarten/Year 1
I usually keep things simpler for the very young students. A typical Kindergarten/Year 1 session involves an introduction, viewing some pictures, reading a couple of my books, and lasts 30 to 40 minutes. Some may have questions which is always welcome but at this age without a Q&A the presentation usually ends with a drawing for their classroom and a takeaway for each person (which I supply the black and white file to print)

Middle Grades
The middle grade students I can talk more of how I relate to the story and characters I’m presenting, some drawing techniques, a few drawing tools I use etc.

Upper Primary
The oldest students I can lean more into the making of a book, some design techniques, tools I use and any behind the scenes information. For Year 6 we have a drawing workshop together.

Extras, where available:
During the day while I’m presenting I have a display stand outside of the presentation space for your school to view in their own time. This includes notes and scribbles that were involved in the making of a book. Plus I have several artworks printed from the books on display. And, I bring everything - stands etc, (aside from a few tables that may be required) and set this up for you before I begin the first presentation. I then pack this up when I’m finished for the day.

Teacher notes can be supplied via access to your printer all to help your students gain a richer experience on presentation day.

Please write to me for more info and prices, plus a more detailed info sheet. And of course your School or Library is unique so please contact for a presentation that caters to your requirements. I’m always open to suggestions and working together to give your classroom a great experience. Please include your Town & State so I may contact other Schools & Libraries that are on the way, pack my lunch and get the van ready!

**As a general guide I don’t charge travel expenses**
If other bookings can be made near by or on the way to your location I have a greater chance of appearing. Please inform other Schools, Libraries or Community Groups in your area that you’re hoping to book me.

**My priority is not book sales**
Although they will be available, my presentations are focused on bringing a great experience.
I love making illustrations, talking about them, story telling, answering questions, helping students - and would love to bring this to yours and other communities. Please help me in doing so!
